Create two series of how-to videos for the Train and Yoga categories at luluemon's Chicago store with local ambassadors.

The goal of this project is to create two series of educational videos to serve lululemon guests looking to start, maintain, and improve their workouts, at home or at the gym or studio. One Chicago-local Tongal filmmaker will work with two lululemon ambassadors at lululemon's Chicago flagship store and studios to create video guides in the Train and Yoga categories.

Series 1: Train will cover three topics and film on Thursday, November 19.

Series 2: Yoga will cover one topic and film on Friday, November 20.

You must be local to Chicago and available to prep and film for those dates to be eligible for this project. A tech scout may be arranged with the local lululemon team the week of production.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • You must be Chicago-local
  • You must be available to shoot on-site at the lululemon Chicago flagship location on November 19-20, including prep beforehand.
  • You must follow all of lululemon's COVID-19 production guidelines, including a MAX of 6 crew members on set, and local Chicago guidelines. lululemon's full COVID-19 production guidelines will be shared with the greenlit filmmaker.
  • Virtual on-set setup will be required for this project and fall under the production budget. Tongal will work with the greenlit filmmaker to set this up.
  • Your Pitch should walk through how you'd create both short-form social content and longer-form content that includes workout content and talking-head/interview content, and how you'll keep it all feeling organic to the vertical and lululemon's social channels. Dive in on lululemon's YouTube and Instagram to see how they communicate with guests, and please include any relevant links to past work in your Pitch.
  • Instagram Story master files will need to be delivered as individual slides, not a strung-together video file.
  • lululemon will provide graphics to use in your videos.

OPEN BID:

  • This is an open bid project, so you will get to set your own budget proposal up to $65,000.
  • By participating in this open bid project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a bid. Though most open bid projects on our platform do move forward with a greenlit bid, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any bids via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all open bid submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so if you're shooting any live-action, please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We’re working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and our advice here is to make sure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline, while also ensuring everyone's safety.

Check out recent sweat-based content on lululemon's social channels for a sense of tone and style:

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.

  • TEXT (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less synopsizing how you plan to approach and execute this video.

  • LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

  • TREATMENT (REQUIRED): A detailed narrative description of what's going to happen in the video. If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

  • BUDGET (REQUIRED): This is an open bid project, so you’ll get to set your overall budget proposal. You can download the budget template here. The Sponsor would like each producer to create 32 pieces of content across two series within a total budget of up to $65,000.

  • PITCH VIDEO (Optional): This is your opportunity to be face-to-face with the Sponsor and show them what you're capable of. Consider submitting a pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your pitch. Also, test videos, animatics, etc. are welcome. For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment, the responsible creator will receive funding. Please note: the payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Please see the full payment schedule in the Assets section.
