Using photos provided by [solidcore] in combination with graphic design and motion graphics or light animation, create a suite of social content for [solidcore] to celebrate some of the cultural moments and holidays this spring.
If you don't already know, [solidcore] workouts are 50 minutes of full-body strength training on a pilates-inspired reformer, and they're truly an immersive experience: held in a dimly-lit room, under blue lights, fueled by energizing music, and driven by an experienced coach who provides everyone with personalized instruction. It's incredibly exciting, and [solidcore] wants to infuse that kind of excitement into a collection of Instagram Stories for their channel that can celebrate some of the key cultural moments and holidays happening this spring.
The goal of this project is to produce Instagram Stories that create awareness for [solidcore] by supporting different cultural moments and holidays, while highlighting [solidcore] through consistent branding and elevated visual elements related to each occasion. It's important that your videos incorporate lots of dynamic movement, especially in the motion text and in the visual elements you include, so you'll want to find interesting and energetic ways to bring that into the video, even having elements move and dance about on screen or by incorporating light animation.
Follow the link in Relevant Assets section below for a collection of [solidcore] photos you can use in your content, but feel free to expand on these with your own digital creations. If you create anything of your own, it's important that you keep them in the style of [solidcore]'s premium aesthetic, and important that they don't become too cutesy. [solidcore] is all about the time under the blue lights, so finding ways to incorporate the studio shots or [sweatlana] - their pilates-inspired reformer workout machine - would be ideal.
Both April Fools Day and Mental Health Month are videos, the rest are static images. In the assets folder there is a video specifically provided for use in the April Fools video. For Mental Health Month, the sponsor is looking for 3 short videos to provide self-care reminders for their Instagram followers. These could be in any medium, but the sponsor is most interested in how you could integrate 2D animation to make these more engaging. Look in the Background for more info on each of the cultural moments and holidays, along with some key details. The execution is all about communicating the information in a fun, polished, and premium way. The static images should be thoughtfully designed; the sponsor is specifically interested in how you can add depth and dimension to these so they don't feel overly flat.
For all static assets, we're requesting a graphic template in addition to the final image itself. We're thinking that'll mean Photoshop PSD assets, but we'd also be open to Canva templates here too. These should consist of individual slides conveying the pertinent information so that the [solidcore] team can quickly and easily add in the copy text and holiday specific team photos closer to the posting date. That said, please speak to how you'll templatize these in an easily accessible way for the [solidcore] team.
For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:
By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a submission. Though most projects do move forward, we'll notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any submissions via the Project Forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and project team.
CULTURAL MOMENTS:
In order to be considered, include the below materials in your submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.
The most compelling pitch will be greenlit by the Sponsor, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal, typically included with the project timeline.
PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to the commencement of actual production, creators MUST receive final approval from the Sponsor on the elements below. There may be multiple rounds of feedback until an element is approved.
If you begin production before you have received final approval, you may need to reshoot or reanimate at your own expense.
For convenience, we've provided some helpful templates that you can consider using for pre-production materials, and they can all be accessed here.
