Nature Made "#1 For a Reason" Live Action Video Project
Pitch
10/02/20 - 10/14/20

Produce a suite of digital videos and still assets based on Nature Made's "#1 For a Reason" concept.

The goal of this project is to produce a small suite of live-action videos illustrating Nature Made's "#1 For a Reason" concept. Nature Made is known to be the #1 Pharmacist recommended supplement brand, and since not every brand achieves this level of trust, the recommendation has been the cornerstone of their marketing efforts. Highlighting this recommendation has been very successful, but now, Nature Made wants to slightly shift the perspective to consider the consumer experience.  Check out the background section for more context.

Using the concept below, we want to draw a clear thread between the excellence that Nature Made puts into its product and the improvements that consumers seek in their own lives. The key point of these videos is to capture that shared commitment to quality and create a connection between the consumer and Nature Made.

Please Note that as part of your submission this project requires a dedicated photographer and graphic designer who can create banner images derived from the photos.  Additionally, the client will need to attend the shoot remotely so please also factor that into your budgeting.

  • By participating in this open bid project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a bid. Though most open bid projects on our platform do move forward with a greenlit bid, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any bids via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all open bid submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We’re working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and our advice here is to make sure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline, while also ensuring everyone's safety.

From the highly successful "Denise" and "Siobhan" spots, Nature Made has learned how important the #1 Pharmacist recommendation is to their customers.  Pharmacists say they recommend Nature Made vitamins because they trust their quality, and Nature Made was the first vitamin brand in the market verified by USP, an independent organization that sets strict quality and purity standards. When you're in the vitamin aisle, there are a lot of choices to make, and it can be difficult to know which brands are monitoring the quality of their product. This recommendation has made it possible for Nature Made to be the clear reliable choice amongst its competitors, and will continue to be a major part of the brand's awareness.

Nature Made wants to build upon this aspect of their brand and nod towards the diligence and effort that goes into achieving that level of reliability. Nature Made puts in the time every day to create supplements that are trustworthy and high-quality, and their customers mirror this dedication in their own lives too. Nature Made's demographic are individuals seeking to optimize their wellness and regularly practice healthy habits by taking daily supplements. This is an emotional parallel that we want to capture in these videos. To do so, Nature Made along with the help of the Tongal community created the "#1 for A Reason" concept below:

"#1 for A Reason" - Show people being #1 in their daily lives: a parent plays w/ child & sips out of their #1 Dad/Mom mug, homeowner puts the finishing touches on the best front yard in the culdesac, hobbyist looks over their award-winning craft, etc. In our lives and on the shelf, quality takes time and effort to achieve. Nature Made puts effort and quality into its vitamins, so you can achieve everything you're after in life. To put simply, Nature Made does its best, so you can be your best. We conclude by connecting these moments to Nature Made as the #1 Pharmacist recommended supplement brand

While Nature Made is open to other scenes than the ones listed above, it is important that they feel relatable and familiar. Nature Made does not want to drift into an aggressive tone with high-performance fitness achievements or extreme outdoor activities. This should feel like a slice of life, and viewers should see themselves in the moments that are depicted.
