Using primarily motion graphics, produce winter-themed Facebook, Pinterest, or TikTok videos and still images that highlight how food lovers can enjoy everything the holiday season has to offer and still lose weight on WeightWatchers.

***Please See Important Updates to this Brief in RED.***

We all know winter is the most wonderful time of the year, and every festive holiday comes with equally-festive foods. Hot chocolate, holiday cookies, honey-baked ham... the list goes on and on. When you're a food lover (and who among us isn't?!), the last thing you want to do is deprive yourself of all the delicious seasonal foods and traditions that the holiday season brings. The good news is - WeightWatchers is designed for food lovers. You can enjoy the foods you love and still lose weight, because on WeightWatchers, no food is off limits. The program teaches you how to build healthy habits so you can lose weight in a sustainable way. You can enjoy that holiday cookie and not feel a single ounce of guilt!

WeightWatchers was made by people who love food, for people who love food - because loving food and wanting to lose weight should never be mutually exclusive. To that end, WeightWatchers wants to create social-first videos and still images that lean into the themes and trends of the winter season, while also demonstrating that WeightWatchers is all about the enjoyment of eating - and losing weight.

WeightWatchers is looking to make assets specifically designed for three different social media platforms: Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok. They are looking to greenlight THREE different creators, and each creator will be responsible for creating assets for ONE of those platforms. Each creator will receive a budget of $7,500 to create seven unique assets.

When you submit your pitch, you will need to select your preferred platform from a dropdown menu. If you'd like to create assets for more than one platform, we highly encourage you to submit multiple pitches.

This content should primarily be driven by motion graphics, but you can also incorporate lo-fi footage shot on your phone if your creative execution calls for it. WeightWatchers can also provide greenlit filmmakers with images to incorporate into your videos, if necessary. Please note: your concepts should be winter-related, but not holiday-specific. For inspiration, WW has included the following thought starters:

  • Cozy winter comfort foods
  • Crockpot meals
  • Staying on track during the holidays while traveling
  • Holiday cookies for cookie exchanges
  • Christmas market finds (think of European Christmas markets)
  • Peppermint recipes
  • Resolutions that don’t have to wait for the New Year
  • The gift of wellness

For your sample video, please create one up-to-:15 social video for your preferred social media platform. For Facebook, your video should be 4x5; for Pinterest, your video should be 2x3; and for TikTok, your video should be 9x16. Your sample video should speak to the message "Weight Loss for Food Lovers." Your sample video should also lean into winter themes & trends while still communicating that core message. You can access WW's logo HERE, brand fonts HERE, and color/style guidelines HERE. Your sample video should both tell a story and be designed for social media distribution.

For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Shooting live action or stop motion? Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date.
