Create a set of dynamic motion graphic title cards for use in social assets posted on Peacock's social media channels later this year.

From iconic matches and celebrated storylines to record-breaking premium live events, 2023 marked a historic year for WWE. To help celebrate the year and get fans excited for what's to come in 2024, Peacock - the streaming home of WWE - will be creating a series of animated social assets recreating different iconic WWE moments for 2023. In order to help those assets feel like they are part of a cohesive series on social media, Peacock is also looking to create a set of motion graphic title cards that can be placed at the start of those social assets. Creating those title cards will be the goal of this project.

As this content will be running in December, around the holiday season, the Peacock team would like the design of the title cards to reflect the season with some sort of winter or holiday design elements. That said, it should still be immediately clear from the design that this is WWE and wrestling-themed, and feature Peacock-branding in some way. An initial idea the team was interested in was creating an advent calendar-style animation that could open to reveal the different top wrestling moments of the year, with each of the social videos being one of those moments. However, the Peacock team is open to any and all ideas you think could work well to capture attention on social, and get people excited to watch the animated recreations that will follow the title card.

From a technical standpoint, we will be looking to create title cards that are both 16x9 and 9x16, so any concept that you consider should work well in both horizontal and vertical formats. The title card should be no longer than :03 in duration. In addition, because these cards will be provided to the teams that are working on the animated recreations of the WWE moments, any sort of transitions out of the title card should be exported on alpha channels. Title cards can feature sound design if it works well for your concept, but any music in the final assets will need to be from Source Audio (more on this in the Project Requirements section below).

For the purposes of your pitch, we're asking that you put together a short proof of concept of your approach to the title card. This does not need to be completed animation, and should really serve to help visualize your overall creative concept. We've put together a folder of Peacock logos HERE, should these be helpful. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

  • TITLE CARD PROOF OF CONCEPT (REQUIRED): For the purposes of your pitch, we're asking that you put together a short proof of concept of your approach to the title card. This does not need to be completed animation, and should really serve to help visualize your overall creative concept. We've put together a folder of logos and other brand assets HERE, should these be helpful.

If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
