Script and produce both a Norwegian and a Swedish-language version of a :30 TrueView video for Trodo, a Scandinavian car parts retailer, with live action, motion graphics, or animation

Trodo is one of the leading online car parts retailer in Europe, with over 2 million high quality parts in stock. Their product compatibility check department ensures that when the customer buys the product, it's almost always a perfect match. Trodo knows that if your car breaks down, your world stops, so you need the right spare part, at the right time, and at the right place, to make sure that you can do the repairs quickly and get back on the road as soon as possible. The brand's goal is to eliminate the uncertainty around getting the right part, and ensure that they deliver on their brand tagline: "Nothing will stop you from moving forward."

The goal is to create a video that speaks to Trodo's audience and drives viewers to their website to learn more. You'll need to create two versions of the video; one in Norwegian, and one in Swedish, but the videos for each market do not need to be creatively distinct, and they can differ only in how language is presented in VO or onscreen text. In Norway, Trodo is branded as Eurodel, so the VO and graphics must reflect that for the Norwegian language version .

What's most important is that you capture or communicate the ease of the Trodo experience, and you should describe how you will accomplish that in your treatment. It should come across that they have a robust offering of car parts that will be an exact match so their customers can repair their cars quickly and keep moving forward. Trodo is looking for a fresh, inventive approach and are open to live action or animated executions. You will NOT have access to Trodo locations or parts, and must pitch an idea that doesn't require them.

All communication during pre-production and production will be done in English, and any dialogue, voiceover, or on-screen text that appears in your scripts (or storyboards) MUST be presented in English, Norwegian, and Swedish, and that includes rough drafts. This means you will need a native Norwegian and Swedish speaker on your team, or you'll need to have a translation service or partner ready throughout the process. The budget has been increased to account for this, and if you'd like a recommendation, Tongal can make one. Bear in mind that the concept should be universal enough so that Trodo can adapt it to other european languages for other european markets where they operate.

For your pitch, please address how you intend to handle translation. We prioritize great creative, and totally understand if you'll need to find a translation partner. Check out more information in the Background, and for any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.
