Help Nature Made make a suite of authentic social content by casting a relatable, engaging personality to feature in videos demonstrating how they use Nature Made in their daily life.

Nature Made is the source for reliable vitamin supplements, and now, they want their social media to reflect the real people who use their products every day. As we meet customers in their normal lives, we want this content to feel sincere and natural so that viewers can see that Nature Made is part of a typical balanced life.

This project is as much about casting as it is about producing good video content, because it's the authentic on-screen personalities that'll carry much of the weight. We're not looking for people with a social following, but it might even be helpful to think of this as "elevated" influencer content. Polished, professional, but intimate and personal in a way that feels like it's the work of an individual.  This means we will not only get to know our personality, but we will be showing the product integrated into their routine. The personality and story should ladder up to Nature Made's brand pillars. More on this in the Background / Additional Details section.

The sponsor is hoping to greenlight 4 teams of filmmakers & personalities, but they are also open to greenlighting a filmmaker who can source more than one personality. If you are submitting to produce more than one suite, please submit separate pitches for each personality you'd film with.

DELIVERABLES:

  • One :30 Personality Spotlight (16x9 & 9x16)
  • Four :06-:15 Personality Quote Clips (16x9 & 9x16)
  • Fifteen Stills derived from footage

TIMELINE: For the full project timeline please see the Assets section.

EXPOSURE:

TARGET AUDIENCE:

  • Women, aged 35+ currently using or considering vitamins, minerals, and supplements as part of their health and wellness regimen
  • Secondary target audience: 35+ active, health-conscious Dads

TONE:

  • Optimistic
  • Authentic, Real, Relatable
  • Credible, Knowledgeable, Certain
  • Video should feel native to social media. We are going for in the moment documentary aesthetics. While we do want to appear appealing,  we don't want to overly polish the imagery and make it feel sterile or overtly branded.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • This content should be Evergreen. While COVID-19 is an obvious consideration with this product, we do not want to overtly allude to that aspect.
  • Content must feature Nature Made products. Nature Made will supply products for filming.
  • You will be required to submit with talent, and if you are submitting to produce more than one suite, please submit a separate pitch with each personality.

OPEN BID:

  • This is an open bid project, so you will get to set your own budget proposal within the $7,000-$10,000 range per proposed personality. The sponsor is entertaining the option to greenlight up to four personalities, and it is possible for you to be greenlit to produce more than one series per personality.
  • By participating in this open bid project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a bid. Though most open bid projects on our platform do move forward with a greenlit bid, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any bids via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all open bid submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We’re working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and our advice here is to make sure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline, while also ensuring everyone's safety.

You don't have to be a professional athlete to pay attention to your nutrition, and that's why Nature Made is looking for personalities that embody the stories of people who are using vitamin supplements to support their everyday life. We are looking for charismatic individuals that come through on camera and share with us how Nature Made is helping them achieve their goals and find balance. Nature Made has multiple categories in which they help their customers. We would want our personalities to touch on at least one of these ideas:

Sleep

  • We all need sleep. But with today’s “always-on” schedules, it can be hard to come by. When you feel exhausted, irritable, or are unable to concentrate, you could benefit from a few more hours of zzzs.
  • Stress can play a huge role in not being able to get to sleep when your head hits the pillow. You know when your eyes are shut but your mind is racing.
  • With the varying sleep issues that consumers have, there are now a range of solutions to meet their needs, and Nature Made can help them identify the right solution for them: Calm & Relax, Sleep & Recover, Melatonin Extended Release, Melatonin 10mg Gummy

Immune health

  • The immune system is a wonderfully complex system of blood cells and organs. A well-functioning immune system is key to our overall health and well-being.
  • From seasonal changes and diet, to stress and even sleep, making sure you provide your body with nutrients that support your immune system should top your good-health priority list.
  • A healthy lifestyle is key. Stay active, get more sleep, wash your hands, and supplement with Nature Made Vitamin C*, Vitamin D and Elderberry. *Focus on gummies (flavor appeal)

Women's Health

  • No two women are the same, but each and every one of you can benefit from a little TLC with antioxidants, bone support, and immune system support.
  • Your health can be affected by anything from a busy schedule that keeps you from focusing on you, to a lack of vitamins and minerals in your normal diet.
  • While your body has unique requirements, challenges, and strengths, our supplements protect you from the inside out. Count on Nature Made to deliver essential nutritional support to meet your individual needs with: Multi for Her +Omega 3s Gummies, Multi for Her, Fish Oil for heart health, Vitamin D and Calcium for bone health, Biotin for hair, skin & nails

Broad Nature Made

  • Every body, literally, is different—with unique requirements, challenges, and strengths. Nature Made supplements protect you from head to toe, providing essential daily nutritional support suited to your individual needs.
  • Filling nutritional gaps with some of the key players like vitamins A, C, D and E can help jump-start your personal health goals. Try Nature Made Multi for Her/Him, Vitamin D, Magnesium, B12, Turmeric

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.

  • TEXT (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less synopsizing how you plan to approach and execute this video.

  • LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

  • TREATMENT (REQUIRED): A detailed narrative description of what's going to happen in the video. If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

  • BID (REQUIRED): This is an open bid project, so you’ll get to set your overall budget proposal. The Sponsor would like each producer to create a suite of social videos with a cost range of $7,000-$10,000 per personality. You may propose multiple personalities to work with.

  • HEADSHOTS/CASTING BOARDS (REQUIRED): Introduce us to your personalities. Share with us their headshots, previous videos, and their story on how they relate to Nature Made.

  • PITCH VIDEO (Optional): This is your opportunity to be face-to-face with the Sponsor and show them what you're capable of. Consider submitting a pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your pitch. Also, test videos, animatics, etc. are welcome. For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment, the responsible creator will receive funding. Please note: the payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Please see the full payment schedule in the Assets section.

PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to shooting, filmmakers must receive the below approvals from the Sponsor.

  • SHOOTING OUTLINE: This project requires shooting outline approval before filmmakers move onto the Video Phase. The Sponsor may provide feedback on your outline and ask you to submit a new version. There may be several rounds of feedback until an outline is approved by the Sponsor.

For your convenience, we’ve provided some helpful templates to use at your discretion. They include templates for creating a treatment, production budget, storyboards, shot list, call sheet, and a music cue sheet. Additionally, there are templates that will help you clearly present cast, location, and wardrobe options to the Sponsor. They can all be accessed here.

REVISION REQUIREMENTS: Once the Video Phase has closed, the greenlit submitters will enter the Revisions Phase. Filmmakers will perform reasonable edits on their videos according to the Sponsor’s feedback.
