Create a stop-motion video up to 5 minutes long based on the LEGO World Builder concept Marvel: Mech Madness, featuring the LEGO Marvel Avengers Mech sets.

Are you a stop-motion animator who dreams of using the Mind Stone to manipulate Minifigures to move instead of manually posing them? Do you wish you had the Space Stone so that you could go from your studio to the kitchen without walking a single step? Are you completely obsessed with the Marvel Avengers? If the answer is YES to any of the above, this project is for you.

We are looking for a brilliant stop-motion animator to create a stop-motion video up to 5 minutes long based on the LEGO World Builder concept, Marvel: Mech Madness. Check it out:

Due to recent battles, many Avengers are beginning to feel unprepared for future threats. As a solution, Bruce Banner and Tony Stark use the Hulkbuster mech design to create mechs for Tony himself, Captain America, and Thor. But Thanos pays them a visit, and corrupts the mechs using the infinity stones! The Avengers must try to fight mechs equipped with their own powers and stop Thanos before he becomes too powerful.

The pitch winner will be given the full story outline, but if you're looking to build (and fast!) you can find additional information about the characters and the settings in Background/ Additional Details. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

DELIVERABLES: There are 4 total assets.

  • One up to 5-minute hero video (16x9) with the title/end card
  • One up to 5-minute hero video (16x9) without the title/end card

  • For the full project timeline please see the Assets section.

Once the treatment and animation script is approved, you will have just 5 days to create an animatic.

TONE: The tone is cool, relevant, and action-packed, with a uniquely LEGO voice. Content should skew up in age with a more edgy and theatrical-like feel, while still having humor incorporated.

TARGET AUDIENCE: LEGO fans of all ages

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:
