Create an epic, exciting LEGO Minecraft adventure video that will inspire young fans of Minecraft to "Think like a Minecrafter - Build like a Minecrafter".

LEGO Minecraft fans, this is the project you've been waiting for! For years, Minecraft has been one of the most popular games in the world, inspiring imagination and creativity for all ages, and LEGO Minecraft has become the physical representation of this adventure that takes place right in your living room. Now, LEGO Minecraft wants to create an awesome, creative, epic adventure video using some of the latest sets to inspire a whole new generation of Minecraft fans to grab their LEGO bricks and "Think like a Minecrafter, Build like a Minecrafter".

The objective here is to tell a cool story, entertain people, and raise awareness of the LEGO Minecraft line of toys. Plain and simple. We’re not trying to create a commercial or a social media campaign. This is all about the fun that LEGO Minecraft has to offer, and thus the creative possibilities are wide and expansive: much like the game, if you can dream it, you can create it! What matters is that this video is fun, fresh, uses LEGO Minecraft sets detailed in the background section, and tells a cohesive story that excites Minecraft fans, reminding kids that they can use their LEGO Minecraft sets at home to re-create their favorite scenes, houses, and storylines from their own, unique perspective.

One element that you will need to break down clearly in your treatment is how you will use the LEGO Minecraft sets listed in the background section within your videos. You will have 7 sets with at least 5 that need to appear within your videos so you will need to describe how these sets will be featured. Maybe there are two opposing sides fighting one another in Survival mode and your concept features a video from each side. No matter the approach, LEGO Minecraft wants to hear it!

This project is open to all styles of animation: If you're a stop motion animator, this might be the perfect fit for you. Perhaps you want to shoot a live-action video showing how you've recreated entire Minecraft worlds with your LEGO Minecraft sets, in order to inspire young builders. If you're a 3D animator who wants to turn the provided LEGO Minecraft sets into an epic adventure video, that could work too. All of these options are on the table, so we'd love to see your detailed vision and approach in your pitch. Check out the Background section below to see a few examples of what's possible in terms of style. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a pitch. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Shooting live action or stop motion? Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We're working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and you should ensure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline and budget, while also ensuring everyone's safety.
