Create a :30-second TrueView video for Veriff, a global identity control service company specializing in AI-powered identity verification.

Veriff is an online identity verification company that enables global organizations to build trust with their customers, achieve legal compliance, and optimize internal processes. Active in sectors like fintech, gaming and mobility, Veriff is recognized as a unicorn company and is trusted by brands like Uphold, Wise and Blockchain.

The goal of this project is to create a live-action TrueView video that introduces prospective companies to the Veriff software and showcases how it can be used to quickly and efficiently verify new customers using sophisticated AI technology, all while avoiding the typical roadblocks that other verification software runs into. They've included a number of thought starters and additional creative guidance in the Background, but note that Veriff is only looking for live-action executions, and will let the greenlit filmmaker use their Demo sign up to show the process.

Ask questions here in the Project Forum.

DELIVERABLES: Four total deliverables:

  • One :30 video (16x9)
  • Three alternate :30 versions (16x9). Alternate variations will involve the same characters, locations, and script, and will mostly involve small changes that can be handled in post-production, including changes to CTAs, end-card designs, on-screen text copy, and other minor edits. Additionally, depending on where the creative lands, a version may include a slight variation to the script. This will be decided between the selected producer and client during scripting.

TIMELINE: Please find the anticipated timeline HERE, but note that if you are selected, you should consult with your Tongal producer to ensure you are always working off of the most up to date timeline.

EXPOSURE:  YouTube. For YouTube TrueView for action best practices please click here.

TARGET AUDIENCE:  Online companies that need to verify their customers/users. Seniority: C-level, executive, VP, Director.

TONE: Honest language, nothing stuffy, with room for light comedy as long as it isn't at the expense of the key messaging.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • Must include diverse casting.
  • Please do not name competitors.
  • Don’t point out companies that have been victims of data breach/cybersecurity events by name.
  • Please follow Veriff's brand guidelines which can be found in the Assets tab or clicking here.

Shooting live action or stop motion? Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We're working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and you should ensure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline and budget, while also ensuring everyone's safety.

AI powers Veriff's identity verification platform for a 98% check automation rate which allows them to stay two steps ahead of digital fraud.

They do not cross-reference government databases, as they have their own proprietary database of over 10K government issues IDs that they use to ensure that the user's ID is real, leveraging AI. Veriff next combines the results of face comparison and document validation with video analysis, device and network fingerprinting, and registry checks, providing real-time results.

They want to showcase the ease of use their service provides within traditional user acquisition pipelines. At some point in most of our lives we have found ourselves at the mercy of automated ID service while trying to open a bank, sign up for a sharing service etc. This often plagues us with legacy questions that are impossible to remember such as, "Which address did you live at during the second season of the year one year after the Hubble telescope's gyroscope broke down?" While questions may not be as elaborate as that, they don't make for a pleasant user experience. Veriff has taken steps to bypass all these unpredictable unpleasantries.

THOUGHT-STARTERS: As Veriff is looking for a B2B video to showcase their service's ease and accessibility to companies who deal with these processes, it could be helpful to keep in mind how it helps companies and their customers simultaneously.

  • Verifying people more quickly and easily to ensure they don’t lose customers to an arduous verification process.
  • Avoiding old “Legacy questions” that their customers won’t remember the answers to.
  • Utilizing an ID verification process that's super simple and doesn’t require people to turn to the side or do anything intricate to verify who they are.

All of this results in easier verifications and not losing people at the point of sign up.

Veriff helps companies acquire a plethora of honest customers across the globe and offer a seamless way for businesses to get set up. Couple this with the power that efficient technology provides and you have yourself a cocktail for a paramount onboarding experience. It's no surprise to see how Veriff sets itself apart from the competition and it's useful to know why companies have chosen their superior services in the past.

  • Veriff enables honest customers to get verified in an average of only 6 seconds
  • They support over 190 countries and 40 languages
  • They process more than 10,000 government-issued IDs across the globe
  • They offer a tailored solution and adapt to your verification requirements while providing superior accuracy, consistency, and speed.

For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.

Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Please see the full payment schedule in the Assets section.

PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to shooting, filmmakers must receive the below approvals from the Sponsor.

  • HEADSHOT: This project requires headshot approval before the Video Phase. You must submit at least two actor options per role. If the Sponsor does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new actor options. You must submit at least two wardrobe options per role. If the Sponsor does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new wardrobe options.

For your convenience, we’ve provided some helpful templates to use at your discretion. They include templates for creating a treatment, production budget, storyboards, shot list, call sheet, and a music cue sheet. Additionally, there are templates that will help you clearly present cast, location, and wardrobe options to the Sponsor. They can all be accessed here.

BUILDING YOUR TEAM: Tongal supports inclusivity in all of our productions and strongly encourages you to hire diverse talent for your team. To find staff & crew in your area, check out these resources and partners.
