With an on-site shoot in New York City, on or around October 26th, create an attention-grabbing suite of interview-driven videos that explain Industrious' business strategy to garner trust with those who may be looking for a new coworking space.
**Note: This project involves a site-specific shoot in New York City**
Coworking spaces allow small-to-medium sized businesses and self-employed individuals a place to work outside of the traditional office lease. With the increase of work from home and the downsizing of in-office space, this model is increasingly attractive. Industrious is a fast-growing leader in this coworking space, providing elevated spaces with a focus on member experience. From the dedicated on-site staff that greet you at the door with a smile, to the world-class amenities delivered in a relaxed but professional atmosphere, they strive to be the workplace where you feel like you belong. Amidst the strong growth of the coworking model though, there's still public concern over its resiliency. To address these concerns, the Industrious team wants to have its leaders speak to their business strategy to further instill trust among their members and prospective customers.
The goal of this project is to interview both the CEO and CCO of Industrious at one of their New York City locations and edit their interviews into short, dynamic, engaging videos. Interview questions will be provided by the Industrious team, but you will be leading the interviews yourself. You should plan for about 2 to 2.5 hours of total time with the executives for the interviews. This would include any time in hair & makeup and the interview itself, and and we are asking that you provide a hair & makeup artist to for basic on-camera makeup, and touch-ups as needed. These executives are busy individuals so it's important that you're able to maximize the amount of time you have with each. To that end, we'd expect a small and nimble crew, but you should plan on crewing appropriately to ensure a quick pace, and also set up the location and lighting before the executive arrive so that only minor adjustments are made once in position.
The exact location will be decided on by the Industrious team, with your guidance, during the pre-production phase. On location, you'll be able to reserve a conference room or secluded lounge area to conduct these interviews. You should plan to have different backgrounds for each interview subject, whether that means moving locations within the coworking space, or just changing the angle to provide a completely new and distinct background between interviews. For the edit, you will be given access to existing b-roll of the space to cut in with the interviews, but you should also plan to capture some quick b-roll with the CEO and CCO in the interview space to weave into the edit along with the more generic b-roll. If Industrious is able to coordinate their schedule, you may also need to get b-roll of them interacting in the same space.
Each of the three videos should cover a different topic about their business strategy, with two featuring the CEO and one featuring the CCO. Find the specific topics for each video in the Background below. You'll also be tasked with reframing each into 9x16 for social implementation.

All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.
The most compelling pitch will be greenlit by the Sponsor, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal, typically included with the project timeline.
