Create beautiful, modular videos of Chameleon product lines and flavors to showcase the brand’s commitment to sourcing and brewing the highest quality organic, specialty grade coffee.
People who love coffee, really love coffee, and can you blame them? From the smells, the morning mix routine, to that gratifying first sip moment, coffee is a sensorial journey that is simply irresistible. Well, Chameleon Cold-Brew Coffee is all about crafting the highest quality coffee and encouraging consumers to raise their coffee standards to heighten those visceral moments.
That is where you come in, we are looking for a talented filmmaker to keep it simple and capture those sensorial and gratifying moments in delicious, eye catching visual imagery that helps convey why Chameleon Cold-Brew is the best tasting and highest quality cold-brew coffee available. We want you to create beautiful montages of coffee bean close ups, liquid coffee being poured, milk being swirled into the perfect cup of joe, and other visual cues that communicate product quality and speak to Chameleon’s key differentiators: organic, specialty grade and expertly crafted cold-brew coffee.
For an example and some inspiration, check out this previous Chameleon Cold-Brew video as well as this peppy food commercial.
You will be capturing footage in both a Vertical and Horizontal format focusing on each of the product lines (Concentrate, Cold-Brew Coffees and Lattes (can), and Oat Milk). We will also need to capture visual representations of all their available flavors.
While you will arrange six 15-second videos with six 6-second cutdowns, the objective is also to have enough footage for another editor to be able to mix & match shots to assemble many different derivative videos down the road.
For this reason, a variety of end card lockups featuring the different products, separately and together, will also be necessary. Additionally, there will be 2-3 new product flavors in the fall that will need pick up shots for (end cards) during late summer. This extra pickup will be worth an extra $5K making the final total of the entire project $40K.

Project Details: This Project will be worth a total of $35,000 and consists of 4 Phases: A Pitch Phase, a Pre-Production Phase, a Video Phase and a Revisions Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: PITCH
Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The most compelling Pitch will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will receive $10,000 to help create the Video. Please note the payment of the Pitch award is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, completing Sponsor notes, providing the necessary release forms, and providing all assets required by the sponsor the Pitch winner will receive a final payment of $25,000. For examples of effective Pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 2: PRE-PRODUCTION – The Pitch Winner from the Pitch Phase will enter the Pre-Production Phase (What is a Pre-Production Phase?). During this phase, filmmakers will need to receive the following Approvals from the brand:
No filmmakers may begin shooting their Video until all Approvals are completed and the Video Phase has officially begun. If you begin shooting your Video during the Pre-Production Phase before you have received final approval, there is a chance you will need to reshoot (at your own expense).
For your convenience, we’ve provided some helpful templates to use at your discretion. They include templates for creating a Treatment, Production Budget, Storyboards, Shot List, Call Sheet, and a Music Cue Sheet. Additionally, there are templates that will help you clearly present the Sponsor cast, location, and wardrobe options. They can all be accessed here.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – Once the Pre-Production Phase is complete, the Pitch Winner will create Six, 15-second videos (3 vertical, 3 horizontal), based upon their winning Pitch along with Six, 6-second cut downs (1 each), B-roll footage, and 15 product lockup endcards.
NOTE: The 15-second video, 6-seconds cut-down, B-roll, and endcards are all due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
--Video Phase Payout: Upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, completing Sponsor notes, providing the necessary release forms, and providing all assets required by the sponsor the Pitch winner will receive a final payment of $25,000.

Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the provider’s names above.
Tongal members interested in a more customized music solution for your project are invited to connect with our partner Score A Score. Their creative team will be in touch within a few minutes to discuss the simple process and options with you. Please note that you will be responsible for the fees associated with using Score A Score.
If you are selected as a winner and choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from third-party catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with your license purchase receipt when you turn in your Video paperwork.
