Edit weekly at-home RUN, TRAIN, or YOGA workout content led by lululemon ambassadors for Instagram and YouTube.

We're looking to pair three editors with lululemon ambassadors to create weekly suites of at-home RUN, TRAIN, and YOGA videos for Instagram and YouTube to bring the sweatlife to lululemon guests safely quarantining at home. Each editor will be paired with an ambassador to create four weeks of content, which the ambassadors will film themselves and hand off to their editing partner to cut together into a suite of social assets.

Each suite of content will consist of longer- and shorter-form assets for lululemon's Instagram and YouTube, as well as the ambassador's Instagram.

The deliverables for RUN and TRAIN are slightly different than the deliverables for YOGA:

DELIVERABLES FOR RUN: The RUN editor will create the following suites of content, once a week for four weeks:

  1. INSTAGRAM
  • One 9x16 IGTV – up to 10 minutes
    • 4x5-safe baked-in subtitles (from .SRT files)
  • One 9x16 Instagram Story – 3 slides, each :06–:10 seconds
    • Ambassador introduction
    • One "trailer" slide of the workout
    • Swipe up CTA
  • One 4x5 Instagram In-Feed asset for the ambassador to post on their feed

2. YOUTUBE

  • One 16x9 YouTube – up to 10 minutes
    • same as IGTV, but formatted for YouTube
  • One 16x9 YouTube thumbnail
  • One 16x9 YouTube endcard
  • English .SRT files

DELIVERABLES FOR TRAIN: The TRAIN editor will create the following suites of content, once a week for four weeks:

  1. INSTAGRAM
  • One 9x16 IGTV – up to 10 minutes
    • 4x5-safe baked-in subtitles (from .SRT files)
  • One 9x16 Instagram Story – 3 slides, each :06–:10 seconds
    • Ambassador introduction
    • One "trailer" slide of the workout
    • Swipe up CTA
  • One 4x5 Instagram In-Feed asset for the ambassador to post on their feed

2. YOUTUBE

  • One 16x9 YouTube – up to 10 minutes
    • same as IGTV, but formatted for YouTube
  • One 16x9 YouTube thumbnail
  • One 16x9 YouTube endcard
  • English .SRT files

DELIVERABLES FOR YOGA: The YOGA editor will create the following suites of content, once a week for four weeks:

  1. INSTAGRAM
  • One 9x16 IGTV – up to 30 minutes
    • 4x5-safe baked-in subtitles (from .SRT files)
  • One 9x16 Instagram Story – 3 slides, each :06–:10 seconds
    • Ambassador introduction
    • One "trailer" slide of the workout
    • Swipe up CTA
  • One 4x5 Instagram In-Feed asset for the ambassador to post on their feed

2. YOUTUBE

  • One 16x9 YouTube – up to 30 minutes
    • same as IGTV, but formatted for YouTube
  • One 16x9 YouTube thumbnail
  • One 16x9 YouTube endcard
  • English .SRT files

TIMELINE: This project has an expedited timeline. For the full project timeline please see the Assets section.

EXPOSURE:

TARGET AUDIENCE: lululemon guests and anyone searching for at-home workout content.

TONE: Uplifting, inspiring, fun

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • The long-form content for IGTV and YouTube will vary by vertical:
    • RUN and TRAIN: These videos will be up to 10 minutes and should cover the basics of each workout, tips and modifications, and motivation from the ambassador
    • YOGA: These videos will be up to 30 minutes to show the full yoga flow
  • You must specify which vertical you are pitching against using the provided dropdown menu. Budgets for the YOGA vertical can be slightly higher – see the Open Bid section below for more detail.
  • You are encouraged to pitch against multiple verticals if interested in creating content for more than one.
  • Instagram Story content will need to be delivered as individual slides, not a strung-together video file.
  • In your Pitch, address how you will elevate UGC footage to create beautiful, cohesive videos. Please include any relevant links.
  • Your Pitch should walk through how you'd create both short-form social content and longer-form workout content that feels organic to the vertical and lululemon's social channels. How will you use graphics and music to package your content? Please include any relevant links.
  • lululemon will provide graphics to use in your videos and a template for your YouTube endcard.

OPEN BID:

  • This is an open bid project, so you will get to set your own budget proposal within two ranges:
    • RUN: your budget must be within a range of $10,000–$12,000 for all four weeks of content.
    • TRAIN: your budget must be within a range of $10,000–$12,000 for all four weeks of content.
    • YOGA: your budget must be within a range of $12,000–$15,000 for all four weeks of content.
  • The Sponsor is interested in seeing tiered pricing options, so please feel free to submit various versions of your pitch at budget, target, and reach price points within that price range.
  • By participating in this open bid project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a bid. Though most open bid projects on our platform do move forward with a greenlit bid, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any bids via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all open bid submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

This video created by lululemon ambassador Jasmine Blocker is a great example of the type of content we're looking for:

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.

  • TEXT (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less synopsizing how you plan to approach and execute these videos.

  • LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

  • PREFERRED VERTICAL (REQUIRED): You must select your preferred vertical (RUN, TRAIN, or YOGA) from the dropdown menu. Please note that there is no guarantee you will be selected for your preferred vertical, so you are encouraged to pitch on multiple verticals if interested. If you have relevant editing links against any of these verticals, please include those in your links.

  • TREATMENT (REQUIRED): A detailed description of how you will approach these videos in the edit, making them visually interesting and digestible on social, and breaking down your approach for each platform. If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

  • BUDGET (REQUIRED): This is an open bid project, so you’ll get to set your overall budget proposal. You can download the budget template here. The Sponsor would like each editor to create 4 weeks of content with a total cost range of $10,000–$12,000 for RUN and TRAIN and $12,000–$15,000 for YOGA.

  • PITCH VIDEO (Optional): This is your opportunity to be face-to-face with the Sponsor and show them what you're capable of. Consider submitting a pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your pitch. Also, test videos, animatics, etc. are welcome. For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The three most compelling pitches will be greenlit, and upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment, the responsible creators will receive funding. Please note: the payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Please see the full payment schedule in the Assets section.

REVISION REQUIREMENTS: Once the Video Phase has closed, the greenlit submitters will enter the Revisions Phase. Editors will perform reasonable edits on their videos according to the Sponsor’s feedback.

MUSIC: Tongal has partnered with three premiere music providers: Jingle Punks, Universal Production Music and Epidemic Sound, any of which can be used to source music for your video submission to this project. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into submissions to this project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the providers’ names above.

If you choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from third-party catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with your license purchase receipt when you turn in your video paperwork.

ASSET DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: You must also provide all project files, editing sequences and a 1080p .mov master file, using a ProRes, Animation, or Uncompressed Codec in order to submit final payment. You are responsible for the costs associated the hard drive and shipping.

  13. The Sponsor will be entitled to reasonable revisions on the finished Videos without providing additional compensation. Remember it's easier to re-edit than re-shoot so try to get as much coverage as possible.
