Create a :30 animated TrueView video for ABBY&FINN and how they're bringing better diapers to everyone.

The goal of this project is to create a :30 animated video that introduces viewers to the ABBY&FINN brand and their better diapers delivered right to your door, and ends with a call-to-action driving viewers to the FREE TRIAL!

Why ABBY&FINN? Well...

1. AFFORDABILITY - they're less expensive than other subscriptions and more convenient than a family trip to the store.

2. QUALITY - they use thoughtfully sourced ingredients that are ultra-gentle on skin, super absorbent and hypoallergenic.

3. GIVEBACK - they help reduce diaper need! For every monthly box purchased, 30 diapers are donated to families in need.

And now they're offering a FREE TRIAL so parents can see how great their diapers and wipes are for their little one! Each trial comes with 8 diapers and a travel pack of 20 wipes, parents just need to cover the shipping.

Hopefully, after falling in love with ABBY&FINN diapers, they'll sign up for the subscription... a lil' try your fit before you commit, ya know? Plus, YOUR VIDEO is going to be just the thing to make it happen. Read on to learn more:

DELIVERABLES: Four total deliverables:

  • One :30 video (16x9)
  • Three alternate :30 versions (16x9). Alternate variations will involve the same characters, locations, and script, and will mostly involve small changes that can be handled in post-production, including changes to CTAs, end-card designs, on-screen text copy, and other minor edits. Additionally, depending on where the creative lands, a version may include a slight variation to the script. This will be decided between the selected producer and client during scripting.

TIMELINE:  For the full project timeline please see the Assets section.

EXPOSURE:  YouTube. For YouTube TrueView for action best practices please click here.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

  • Parents looking to make their life easier and provide the best for their little one.
  • Moms who are looking to free up their time and have peace of mind; they don't want to worry about forgetting to buy diapers (the dreaded going to the empty drawer moment!)

TONE:  Upbeat, happy, emotional, joyful!

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • Please reference the ABBY&FINN Official Site to see what kind of language they use to talk about their brand, values and product.
  • The Sponsor will provide vector files and brand guidelines to help with your animation.
  • Regarding VERSIONS, please consider varying when you mention the “Free Trial”, for example:
    • V1 - starts out with the "Free Trial" @ :01.
    • V2 - mentions the "Free Trial" around the :05 - :07 second mark, before the “Skip Ad” button.

ABBY&FINN want to make parenting easier by providing eco-friendly products at an affordable price, preventing waste through our unique business model, and helping families in the U.S. provide everyday essentials for their little ones. Learn more about what they stand for here: "Our Mission"

Of course, ABBY&FINN's convenience of not going to the store,  eco-friendly products and free shipping are all amazing, but their real value prop is the AFFORDABILITY - QUALITY - GIVEBACK trifecta... with the Call-To-Action for the: "Free Trial"!

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.

  • TEXT (REQUIRED): 500 characters or less synopsizing how you plan to approach and execute this video.

  • LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous video work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

  • TREATMENT (REQUIRED): A detailed narrative description of what's going to happen in the video and what animation style you intend to use. If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

  • SCRIPT (Optional): This should include dialogue from the video you intend to create.

  • STORYBOARDS (Optional): Additional concept art, storyboards, shot list, anything that helps get your point across. You can download the Tongal storyboard template here.

  • PITCH VIDEO (Optional): This is your opportunity to be face-to-face with the Sponsor and show them what you're capable of. Consider submitting a pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your pitch. Also, test videos, animatics, etc. are welcome. For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment, the responsible creator will receive funding. Please see the full payment schedule in the Assets section.

PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to shooting, filmmakers must receive the below approvals from the Sponsor.

Additionally, there are templates that will help you clearly present cast, location, and wardrobe options to the Sponsor. They can all be accessed here.
