Once a Brief hits our website until the day submissions close, Tongal and our Project Sponsors excitedly await your Pitches. We are often delighted and surprised by the various takes and skills that each of you brings to the table. From dreaming up original ways to bring the Brief to life in a video, to designing a kick-ass Treatment, to showing off your past work, we know that you put a lot of work into crafting an awesome Pitch.
Late last year, we introduced Pitch Feedback as a new way for Tongal community members to understand how their Pitches were received by the Project Sponsor and Tongal representatives. After several months of testing, we’re happy to report that we’ve improved the experience to include even more actionable tips when you receive our feedback so that next time you can come back stronger than ever!
It’s for this reason that Pitch Feedback will now be called Pitch Tips.
After the Pitch phase closes, if your submission receives a Pitch Tip, you will receive an email with a link to the submissions page in your Dashboard. Click the yellow light bulb icon to view the note left on your Pitch.

While our Pitch Tips still won’t provide you with completely personalized feedback (there are just too many of you and not enough of us!), it should point you in the right direction. It should be noted that not everyone who Pitches on a Project will receive a Pitch Tip.
We are committed to helping our creators level up their professional skills which is why we continually work to provide you with the resources you need when you need them. If you don’t want to wait, click over to the Pitching on Tongal page in Tongal 101 for lots of great advice right now.
We hope you find this feature helpful! If have any other ideas that would improve your experience on Tongal, feel free to leave a comment or write us at info@tongal.com.
Good questions, Matjaz! Because the tips are given in response to each creator's specific Pitch, we don't think it would be especially helpful to release them out of context. HOWEVER, a lot of our advice can already be found in the many resources across the site (for instance: the 'How to Pitch on Tongal' section of Tongal 101 and blog posts like How to Breakthrough on Tongal: Q&A with Recent First-Time Winners and How to Make a Great Pitch Video). Being such an active community member, I am sure that you're aware there is already an Idea Rating system in place on Idea/Concept Projects. At this time, we don't have plans to expand beyond the star-rating system for Ideas/Concepts. Thanks!
