Creative ideas and executions can come from anywhere; that’s our credo and we’re sticking to it. It’s why we love seeing new writers and filmmakers from around the globe submit on Tongal every day. That being said, we understand how some processes on Tongal may seem like they happen in a vacuum.
Rest assured, we know how much blood, sweat, and tears you put into your work and we don’t want you to feel like you’re submitting into the void. Our producers and clients spend countless hours reviewing and analyzing your Pitch Submissions. We want you to you know that we’re invested in your improvement and based on your comments and thoughts from emails and surveys, we’re happy to announce a new feature on Tongal: “Pitch Feedback.”
During the Pitch Evaluation phase, our producers now have the ability to give constructive feedback when applicable. After the Pitch phase closes, if your submission receives feedback, you will receive an email with a link to the submissions page in your Dashboard. Click the yellow note icon to view the feedback and your Pitch.
While we are committed to taking the time to provide feedback, you should not expect to get feedback on every single submission. To start, this will only apply to Pitches, but we hope to provide feedback on more submission types in the future!
In addition, at this time we won’t be available to have one-on-one discussions regarding the feedback, but the Community Team is hard at work developing more resources to help guide you through the Pitch process. In the meantime be sure to check out Pitch Tips in Tongal 101.
We hope you find this feature helpful! If have any other ideas that would improve your experience on Tongal, feel free to write in to feedback@tongal.com
