This Sunday will be historic on many levels. Tom Brady will be making his record-breaking 7th Super Bowl start as a quarterback, as well as vying for his 5th Super Bowl win, which no QB has done before.
We're also seeing advertisers put up a record-breaking amount of money to be featured during the big game. In 2002, a 30 second commercial spot cost $1.9 million to broadcast during the event; this year it will cost a whopping $5 million.
The Super Bowl isn’t all a joyous hot dog grilling, beer guzzling, hilarious commercial watching, family and friend affair, however. Only one team will hoist that Lombardi Trophy when all is said and done, while the other and its adoring fans will suffer the painful sting of loss. But the Hall of Super Bowl losers isn't only lined with athletes. Many brands spend millions only to eventually wind up in the dustbin of pop culture consumerism.
Join us as we memorialize all the brands we’ve lost in the 6 Tom Brady Super Bowl appearances to date:

Most of us will never know exactly what was on this enticingly named website. RIP thrillicious.com. Time of death, unknown.
