Brand on Set: Production Best Practices

We’ve all seen that juicy “For Broadcast” tag on a Tongal banner before, right? You might be drawn to the large prize pool and of course to the opportunity to have your work air on the tele, but here's something you should also think about: For Broadcast, the brand WILL be on set.

While we love and appreciate Tongalers’ incredible ability to get sh*! done, a project that has brand on set means you have to step up your production game to an even higher, more professional level.

There are several key items you must complete and keep in mind prior to and during your shoot for all parties involved to view the production as a success. The additional budget accounts for some of these larger ticket items. We’ve gone ahead and made a checklist for you to consult during Pre-Production. Right click below and click "Save Image As" to download and print this helpful checklist!

Check out this post for more info on how to put together a production book/bible. A final note to consider is that though it sometimes may seem like extraneous work, having the brand on set can be immensely helpful. No one knows their brand better than they do, and the extra coverage and shots can help avoid re-shoots.

Hopefully this helps in running a great set! Check out more of our Community Resources to help you along the way!
