I'm 15th on the all time leaderboard. I started a couple years ago submitting wildcards and slowly began winning pitches. Tongal has been like an agent for me allowing me to focus on the creative execution of ideas while they manage the client side. It's afforded me an elastic income to pursue hobbies or take care of unexpected expenses. My advice would be to submit wildcards, it gives you a deadline and opportunity to build your portfolio.
