MOON RIDER is a 2D action-comedy series about an 11 year old boy named Roger and his sentient motorcycle, June. Together they ride around the fringes of Craters Hollow exploring their strange universe.
The series will mix fun sci-fi exploration with the universal moments of growing up, always centering around the wild but tender relationship between Roger and June.
MOOON: https://vimeo.com/77944976 MOOON was a personal short film that I wrote, directed, animated, fabricated and did the VFX for. It played in festivals around the world and garnered a few small awards. It was also featured as a Vimeo Staff Pick, a Cartoon Brew Pick of the Day, as well as several other film/animation blogs. It is set in space (like MOON RIDER) and shares the emotional perspective into sci-fi stories that I would like to further explore in MOON RIDER.
Dear Yeti: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVPUum3gEiA I am the author and illustrator of DEAR YETI which was published last year by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Like MOON RIDER, it centers around 2 characters who love to explore their backyards. The sense of charm and humor will be shared with the characters in MOON RIDER.
