Jerry Leener spent 35 years working in finance before he decided it was time to drop the suit and tie to spend more time with his family. He also wanted to give back to the community, that's when he discovered EMS. It wasn't easy, he trained for two years, and today he is an EMT at the age of 66. Now he's helping people when they need it the most; he's discovered a new community within his firehouse; and he's enjoying what he's doing! Plus he has time to watch his son's baseball games.
