The playground: a childhood staple where nothing was what it seemed. Desperately trying to cross the monkybars but ultimately our arms failing and releasing us into the hot chocolate lava pit below. Holding our breaths as we hurtled down the tube slide so we wouldn't inhale any of the poisonous gas inside. Swings weren't swings but launching pads where we defied gravity just for a moment in time. We played hard, working up a proud sweat and earning the snacks that our moms had prepared for us.
