The micromanaged team will not make a move on their own. Show a Soccer team being physically moved by the micromanager coach. He has to run to each guy & position them & move their leg to kick. Stands behind goalie & lifts up arms to catch ball. Use this to show how this is ineffective & will not work on field or in workplace.
