Guy sprints from house to car. Palms the car door open as house locks & arms security system, toaster & other appliances power down: house "hibernates." House & car are networked, know the routine. Car's "risk meter" display panel changes based on speed, traffic, location-based accident stats, heart rate, etc. Man speeds, car says: "Slow down; just take this faster route." Guy arrives, turns shirt button to adjust color, upgrades holo-shoe style, leaves car (it parks itself), meets date on time.
