
Help get the Tongal Community into the holiday spirit by creating a unique Yule Log video for Tongal's YouTube Channel.
The holiday season is just around the corner and what better way to get into the spirit than to create some unique holiday content?! Last year we asked you for your Yule Log videos, each of which was posted to our YouTube Channel, and this year we're asking you to do it again! Live Action, Animation, Paper Craft, Stop Motion; the medium is entirely up to you!
Tongal's YouTube Channel is looking for up to 4 creators to create different types of Yule Log videos; these can be live action, animated, stop-motion, paper-craft, felt craft, or whatever your mind can think of, and they should be at least 10 minutes long.
Your video should feature movement; we're looking for more than just a static image on a burning log. Here's a few thought starters that might light your creative fire:
You don't need to include audio or music, we'll handle that on our end.

We're working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and you should ensure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline and budget, while also ensuring everyone's safety.

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.
The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal.
REVISION REQUIREMENTS: Once the Video Phase has closed, the greenlit creator will enter the Revisions Phase. Filmmakers will perform reasonable edits on their videos according to the Sponsor’s feedback.
ASSET DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS & RESOURCES: You must also provide all project files, editing sequences and a 1080p .mov master file, using a ProRes, Animation, or Uncompressed Codec in order to submit final payment. You are responsible for the costs associated the hard drive and shipping.
