Tongalers! Welcome to the Tongal Pilot Portal.
This is a new type of Project that stays open throughout the year
(there’s no deadline!) and lets you submit your Pilot on spec to be reviewed at any time.
Got a perfect video for the Tongal YouTube Channel? Submit a pilot episode for a YouTube series you would like to create, and if it’s a good fit for the Tongal Channel, we’ll make an offer to either purchase the episode as a one-off or work with you to produce a series of episodes for our YouTube Channel.
This Portal is not sponsored by YouTube.
Tongalers! Welcome to the Tongal Pilot Portal. This is a new type of Project that stays open throughout the year (there’s no deadline!) and lets you submit your Pilot on spec to be reviewed at any time. The reason we are doing this is twofold: We are looking to build out the Tongal YouTube Channel AND we want to give our creative community even more opportunity to make awesome content.
We’ll review submissions as they are received, and if Tongal thinks your pilot is the right fit for our channel, we’ll make you an offer to purchase your content or work with you to develop your series within forty-five (45) days after submission.
What you need to know:
We are building out The Tongal Channel with original video content & series created by Tongalers.
What is a Tongal Portal?
A Portal is an ongoing project that allows you to submit at any time throughout the year (The Tongal YouTube Pilot Portal will be accepting submissions through December 31, 2017). At anytime during the submission period, you can submit an original piece of content on spec for review. Within forty-five (45) days after submission, Tongal will either make an offer to purchase your piece of content or send you feedback letting you know that we are going to pass.
If an offer is made to purchase your piece of content you can either accept the offer or decline it.
If you decline an offer, or an offer is not made to purchase your content, all rights to the content will revert back to you after forty-five (45) days after submission.
WHAT TO SUBMIT:
Pilot Video: A piece of video content you feel would be a good fit for The Tongal Channel.
Budget Proposal (Optional): Outline the total budget you would need to make your series happen and how many episodes you want produce.
A Note on Budget: We want to make sure you have the finances you need to create the best Series possible, but we are also looking to build out Tongal’s YouTube channel. Please consider the most economical way to create the content for the Series you pitch when outlining your budget.
The goal of this project is to identify Pilot submissions and purchase them as a one-off or develop them into a Series for the The Tongal Channel by December 31st 2017. When submitting your Pilot consider the following:
