A series of scenes from a veteran’s life with his guide dog: some joyful, some mundane, some dark. Each scene is told in a single wide shot: a man and his dog, always together--we see them out at the park, at home watching TV, blowing out birthday candles, hurrying home from a walk with fireworks going off in the background, curled up in a fetal position in his dining room from a PTSD attack. And, through all this, the dog is right there in the same place, next to his veteran, for every moment.
