Yorktown, 1781; near the edge of battle. Carlisle wraps a soldier's leg. Garrett appears, carrying a soldier on his back. “Can you help him?” he asks. Carlisle is taken aback as he looks in Garrett’s eyes. “You must have an iron will,” Carlisle says, as he grabs some supplies. Garrett looks at Carlisle for the first time, stunned. “He’s my brother,” Garrett explains. "Or used to be." After a tense moment, Carlisle convinces Garrett he is there to help. He works on the soldier, barely saving him.
