Turncoats combines 18th Century historical details with the Twilight characters we love, and I envision a tone that reflects this juxtaposition, i.e. using contemporary music with a prominent drum that recalls a revolutionary era military band. I plan on shooting with the Canon C-100 and using vintage prime lenses to give this film a color-saturated, stylized feel. We will work with a reenactment group out of North Carolina for costumes, and shoot on a Civil War battlefield in Kentucky.
