We've Met Before is a couple's origin story, in which Alice waits at a diner to meet the true love her visions have promised her. I'd approach it as a love story first and foremost, focusing on the nervous anticipation of first love and first meetings. The period element of the film has potential for a very poppy, vibrant color scheme and the setting at a diner could be done especially well by juxtaposing the warmth of our couple-to-be against the brewing stormy weather outside.
