Create two short social videos, one for PAW Patrol and one for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that feature exclusive consumer products available at Target for the Easter season.
***Please Note that only U.S. Residents are eligible to submit for this project.***
Spring is almost here, and with that comes the joy of...(no, not tax season) Easter gift baskets! This spring, Paramount is dropping some fun Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and PAW Patrol consumer products at Target that would make for a great addition to any Easter basket. To drive excitement for these new products, Paramount is looking for someone to create two unique social videos - one for TMNT and one for PAW Patrol - that are quick, creative, and engaging enough to stand out in a social feed, enticing viewers to click on the links and buy the products. It's important that your videos are bold and fun right from the top and capture the audience within the first 3 seconds.
In terms of execution, live-action and stop-motion are on the table, so long as the products are the star of the show. We CANNOT show children's faces in the videos (although hands and bodies are OK), but honestly, most of the time we don't need any humans in the video to make the products come to life. Check out some examples of consumer products videos that Paramount has created to get a sense of the style that's worked in the past. But don't feel hemmed in by these - we want to hear about YOUR creative way to really make these products shine.
The products will be shipped directly to the greenlit creator, and due to product availability, we can only consider US-based creators for this project. We've included a style guide for both the TMNT and PAW Patrol brands in the Relevant Assets section below that you can refer to for logos, fonts, etc. For PAW Patrol in particular, Paramount is looking to lean into the "To the Rescue" messaging to tell the story of PAW Patrol coming "To The Rescue" for Easter baskets/spring gifting. Each video must include at least 3 of the products listed below (but the more, the better!). Each product is listed in order of priority. In your Pitch, make sure to detail exactly which products you plan on using in the video and how.
PAW Patrol Consumer Products:
1. Toddler Boys' PAW Patrol 2-pc. Striped Short Set
2. PAW Patrol 12" Bike + Paw Patrol Toddler Helmet
3. PAW VHC Themed Vehicle Air Rescue Chase
4. 3ct Scribble Scrubbie - Paw Patrol
5. Zak Designs 16 fl oz Plastic Beacon Paw Patrol Straw Water Bottle with Fun Popper
TMNT Consumer Products:
1. Boys' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Moda Short Sleeve Graphic T-Shirt - Red (Note: this may be swapped for a different t-shirt if out of stock - higher res image will be provided to greenlit filmmaker)
2. Goo Jit Zu TMNT Single Pack (EXCLUSIVE!) **These come in all 4 turtles if concept would allow showing more than one character; Raph is the priority character (either show 1 or all 4)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo Mutant Mouths Action Figure (Available in Leo and Raph, open to showing both or 1)
4. TMNT color & sticker activity set

By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a submission. Though most projects do move forward, we'll notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any submissions via the Project Forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and project team.
In order to be considered, include the below materials in your submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.
The most compelling pitch will be greenlit by the Sponsor, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal, typically included with the project timeline.
PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to the commencement of actual production, creators MUST receive final approval from the Sponsor on the elements below. There may be multiple rounds of feedback until an element is approved.
If you begin production before you have received final approval, you may need to reshoot or reanimate at your own expense.
For convenience, we've provided some helpful templates that you can consider using for pre-production materials, and they can all be accessed here.
