Create a sweded version of your favorite holiday film. Use live action, cardboard, stop-motion, CGI or a combination to reimagine a holiday classic in a funny 30 – 120 second Video.
What’s the best part about coming home for the holidays? Seeing old friends? Getting gifts? Sharing the Christmas spirit? Nope! It’s binging on all those classic holiday movies airing on TV. So what better way to celebrate than a little yuletide sweding?
If you’re not exactly sure what a swede is, look no further than these amazing examples from past Tongal Projects. We want to see your clever DIY riffs on Christmas classics, so if you have a great Arnold impression or have access to a Building and Loan or if your uncle kind of looks like Macaulay Culkin, then this is the project for you.
And how’s this for a Christmas present? The 1st place filmmaker will be invited to the 2015 Tongies! That means you and a friend will get to attend the 2nd Annual Tongies. We’ll fly you out, put you up in a hotel and let you strut your stuff on the red carpet! Click the objectives tab to find out more.
