Cold calling is one of the hardest things to do. While working at a casting job, we had a quota of people we needed to reach and the whole room could hear everyone's phone calls. It would take a different amount of time for each individual but ultimately shyness would subside and the fear would dissipate. Practicing brings confidence. Confidence allows you to never be intimidated by a phone or a person, cold calling warms up your ability to approach anyone in any situation.
