My GF lives alone, but her mom still offers to take her weekly pile of dirty clothes and do her laundry. She can do that somewhere else, but she knows it's a chance to spend some time with her. So now they trade favors: Her mom does her laundy, and while they wait for the machine, she helps her color her hair. The whole while, they talk and talk and time really does fly by. By the time the washer's up, they're both left with so much more to talk about... but it'll have to wait until next week!
