Greenlit
Tradition by M Sarkar
The Iowa State football team, the "Cyclones", scored a win over their rivals Colorado on Nov 12 2005 when a real tornado touched down in Ames during pregame activities/tailgating. Cyclones fans eventually convinced the Iowa State athletic director to start a tradition of tornado sirens going off after touchdowns, defensive stands, and other big plays. What a way to unnerve the rival teams, and fire up their own's morale.
