When the Huskers make their first touchdown of the game the fans can release their red balloons into the air. The balloons can be sold before entering the stadium to the Husker fans. Many traditions only involve teens or adults but this one involves everyone. I mean who doesn't love balloons? The kids would definitely have a blast doing this! What greater tradition than having the Husker spirit fly high to be shown to everyone!
