There's no doubt that we Berkeley kids have been described as weird, strange or "a crazy bunch of liberals." And it's true, we're all a little odd, but we embrace it. Thus when Cal Athletics deems a game as "Weird Out Berkeley" themed, of course we'll go all out. We arrived in onesies, as french fries, superheroes, even a bear. We looked crazy, and we loved it. It the spirit traditions like these that make us proud to be ourselves, but even more proud to be Golden Bears.
