Produce an exciting and eye-catching batch of five static images to promote the amazing perks of T-Mobile's new loyalty program, Magenta Status.

Before we know it, it will be Spring Break: time for sun, swimming, and... sensational customer benefits. Yeah, for this vacation season, T-Mobile wants to highlight why they should be the go-to carrier for any current or potential customer who's interested in travel, exclusive perks, and a whole lot of adventure. It's time for them to showcase the exhilarating and exclusive benefits available to Magenta Status holders while encouraging viewers to elevate their Spring Break plans through T-Mobile.

The goal of this project is to produce five visually cohesive static images that highlight the perks of their new loyalty program, Magenta Status. Each static image should focus on a different perk from the list of T-Mobile offerings, which you can read more about in the Background. While the explanations of each perk may be lengthy, we are not looking for you to fit the entire message into a single image - that's T-Mobile's job when they post. Your job is to find clever and captivating ways to share the key messaging through dynamic visuals and typography. Ideally, we aim to illustrate how customers can experience their next spring vacation like a true VIP with Magenta status just by being part of T-Mobile.

We are open to mixed media approaches so be sure to share how you would execute on the images whether you're going for full illustration, a mix of graphics and photography, or maybe even creating your very own image of a sandcastle hotel. Be sure to include engaging visuals of travel destinations, outdoor advantages, and how you plan to combine those with the Magenta Status perks such as exclusive access and discounts. Overall, we want to infuse this series with fun, dynamic, vibrant colors, and a spring break vibe while keeping T-Mobile in mind. If you have not heard it by now, T-Mobile is all about their Magenta (#E20074) color so don't be afraid to lean into their vibrant and playful personality.

For your pitch, we highly encourage that you submit a proof of concept / first draft of an image or multiple images along with your Treatment and check out links in the Background to see what T-Mobile has created lately. This is primarily for T-Mobile employees to share too; they will do so on their personal social media accounts for their family, friends, and professional contacts. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

DELIVERABLES: There are 5 total photo assets.

  • Five static images (1x1)

EXPECTED TIMELINE: This is an expedited timeline with all final assets due by 3/1.

EXPOSURE: We expect content will be used on the platforms below, but if casting talent, be sure they review our required Talent Release before they're cast, as it is NOT limited to these platforms. You should also review our Music providers in the Project Requirements, as well as the platform best practices.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Employees' friends, family, business contacts, and social networks. This runs the gamut because we're talking about both corporate and in-store employees, so go for broad appeal.

TONE/FEEL: Fun, Vibrant, Engaging, Playful, Exciting, Exclusive. Stay away from anything that feels sales-y.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

  • Always make Magenta (#E20074) the hero color in designs.
  • Other primary brand colors are Dark Magenta (#861B54), Dark Gray (#6A6A6A), Light Gray (#E8E8E8), Black (#000000), and White (#FFFFFF).
  • The official brand font is TeleNeo; the font will be provided to the selected creator if needed.
  • Your assets should avoid competitor colors (e.g. Verizon's reds, AT&T's blues).

By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a submission. Though most projects do move forward, we'll notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any submissions via the Project Forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and project team.

T-MOBILE OFFERINGS AND KEY MESSAGING: Your images should contain the following headlines with the included offers to message.

  • Premium Hotel Deals & Experiences: T-Mobile customers now get access to a special discounted rate with Hilton. With Magenta Status, customers can get 15% off across Hilton’s 22 leading hotel brands worldwide.
  • Refuel or Recharge on Us: Returning a rental car to the airport is now a breeze — just drop it off and go — and skip the hassle and last-minute stops! T-Mobile customers don’t have to worry about filling up the gas tank at Dollar or recharging their Electric Vehicle (EV) at Hertz before returning it. Simply drive past the gas or charging station, show up at the airport and drop off the keys. This is a deal so good it can’t be found anywhere else. And it’s available at nearly ALL airports across America.
  • $5 Movie Tickets: T-Mobile customers now get a $5 movie ticket for everyone on their account to one of the best new major motion pictures … EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. Guaranteed… all year long. That’s just $20 for a family of four, saving customers more than 50% on the average movie ticket.
  • Score exclusive access to the best seats at shows: Customers now get 25% off tickets to some of the hottest shows at Live Nation amphitheaters and select clubs and venues, all year-round. That means incredible deals on more than 8,000 shows spanning over 120 venues nationwide.

HELPFUL REFERENCE VIDEOS & PHOTOS FOR INSPIRATION/TONE:

This is some of the recent video and image content created on Tongal, and they're all great examples of the style we're looking for but still showcase how much diversity is possible.

  • Previous Evergreen Offers Video & Images - This illustrated approach is a good example of a playful approach without feeling too cheesy. - This is a great example of static assets that were made for both English and Spanish audiences
  • Modern Evergreen Offers Videos & Images - This isn't the only approach, but it's precisely what we mean when we say modern, stylish, and tech-forward in design aesthetic. - Even with a more playful illustrated approach, the contrasting colors, funk beat, and constant motion elevate the feel of these assets.
  • Project 10Million Back to School Static Assets - These images take very similar messaging and found unique ways to stylize around the same theme of education and diversity.
  • Hispanic Heritage Quote Videos & Asian Heritage Static Image - Look at how vibrant and fluidly energetic this is, and how the artistry shines through in an unexpected way, with a very modern feel.
  • Benefits & Sustainability Videos & Images - This is a good example of how a mixed media / motion graphic approach can bring the same kind of electric energy, showcasing some abstract artistry in its design elements to make the image feel lively without being cluttered.

In order to be considered, include the below materials in your submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.

  • TEXT (REQUIRED): Up to 500 characters synopsizing how you plan to approach and produce the content listed out in the Deliverables.

  • TREATMENT (REQUIRED): A more detailed and specific description of how you propose to execute all of the content listed out in the Deliverables, both in terms of what we can expect to see, and how you’ll make it. If it's helpful to you, we've provided a treatment template, which you can find here.

  • LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous video and static images work. Please specify your role (producer, director, cinematography, etc.) and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual videos.

  • PROOF-OF-CONCEPT ARTWORK (Optional): If you want, you may create a proof of concept showing how you'd approach design if greenlit. Upload an image of your Artwork in either PNG or JPG format.

  • PITCH VIDEO (Optional): This is your opportunity to be face-to-face with the Sponsor and show them what you're capable of. Consider submitting a pitch video in which you tell the Sponsor what they can expect should they choose your pitch. For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit by the Sponsor, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.

Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal, typically included with the project timeline.

PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to the commencement of actual production, creators MUST receive final approval from the Sponsor on the elements below. There may be multiple rounds of feedback until an element is approved.

If you begin production before you have received final approval, you may need to reshoot or reanimate at your own expense.

  • TREATMENT Describe in detail how you plan to execute the content, and how you plan to bring it to life visually. Feel free to use concept art, references, style frames, or mock-ups. If relevant, share additional information about your team, and your process.

For convenience, we've provided some helpful templates that you can consider using for pre-production materials, and they can all be accessed here.

REVISION REQUIREMENTS & RESOURCES: Once Content has been submitted and the initial Production Phase completed, greenlit creators will enter into Revisions. Creators will perform reasonable edits on their videos according to the Sponsor's feedback. Check out our Filmmaker Resource Portal to access helpful post-production resources like Text-Safe Guides for different platforms, Project File Organization Tutorial, Export Presets, and Captioning services.
