We (Melissa and JP) lived in Los Angeles and worked in "the industry" for a decade. While work came easy, we were never satisfied with being cogs in the film wheel. So we decided to move to a smaller city, Portland, to start our own production company. It was terrifying; many of our LA friends warned we wouldn´t find work. After discovering Tongal, we submitted our first pitch...and won! Now we are hooked on Tongal, because this platform allows us to do the job we love in a place we love.
