Big Idea by Jukka Ahola
Lego Technic teaches kids how the world works around them. Learning how and why a machine works the way it does is both exciting and enlightening.

Pieces of Reality emphasises the role of Lego Technic as a representation of reality: that the models are realistic but also easy to understand. They are an exciting shortcut to a technical understanding.
What would you do in digital?
Videos that combine Lego Technic with the real world, e.g. Lego Technic suspension and a real car.

SOCIAL: Inspire UGC where Lego Technic is shown with real-life situations, e.g. A hand with a Technic tyre and a real car. #piecesofreality
What would be the messaging and or tagline for the overall campaign?
Pieces of Reality.
What types of live event activations do you envision as part of the campaign?
Combine reality with Lego Technic. At any family festival, bring in a full-size truck with a Technic crane. Guerilla marketing with reality built partly with Lego Technic.
What kind of print materials or visual images would you create?
Reality explained with Lego Technic.

For example, a bus side ad with a cross-section of the bus. With Lego Technic gears inside.

Or an ad with an interior car view with steering wheel replaced with a Technic wheel.
How would you ensure these materials reach the right audience?
By introducing the concept in situations where it sparks discussion. Mainly between children and parents. The parents can guide and explain reality, the kids can gain confidence through understanding.
