A preloader in the shape of a lightning bolt
Story by Richard Chisum
When you meet 12 year old Autumn Thomas, a talented athlete, actress, singer and musician, you'd never guess she is also an award winning inventor and self-described "nerd". On a recent project, Autumn wondered if recycling and solar energy could be combined in a useful way. The result was a prize winning solar powered toaster built from a pizza box and plexiglass. Inexpensive materials and free energy. Could this approach change the world? Autumn thinks so, and she can't wait to tell you more.
