Work with provided footage to craft two authentic and engaging product demo videos where LEGO associates highlight key features of new LEGO sets.
The LEGO Group has specialists in their stores all over the world who are experts about the latest features and details of LEGO builds. Now, they are looking to create an engaging new video series that features these specialists showing off the latest and greatest elements of new LEGO products. To bring this series to life, they're going to film with different teams at a several of different store locations, but want one editor who will create two fun and engaging edutainment-style “show and tell” videos in a repeatable format.
The goal for this project is to create two :60 videos to serve as a "proof-of-concept" for an eventual series that can be replicated at various LEGO stores throughout the country and world, all while showing off cool LEGO employees and builds! For this project you will be responsible for post-production only. You will receive raw footage digitally and will craft two product demo videos that feel authentic, organic, personality-driven, and fun. We want these videos to feel like they reflect the local character of the store, and although much of that will fall on the local teams, you'll want to think about how you can pull through or highlight those elements in your edit. You should also plan to incorporate motion graphics and on-screen overlays to enhance the storytelling.
While this project involves both horizontal and vertical deliverables, we're leading with 9x16 vertical content and need an editor that can elevate content with a social-first perspective.
The exact LEGO sets featured will be new, confidential products, and we’ll be able to provide images and more details once you’re greenlit. While this project only involves the first two videos in the series, the goal is to find someone who will continue on with series after the pilot. Exact timing and budget will be determined down the road.
We are running a separate project on the site to find a filmmaker who will handle all aspects of physical production for these two videos, so check out In-Store Show and Tell Videos Physical Production Project if you're interested!

HELPFUL REFERENCE VIDEOS FOR EXAMPLES OF FORMAT/STYLE:
In order to be considered, include the below materials in your submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery. All Pitches remain private, even after a Pitch is selected, and Tongal strives to have Pitch selections made by the end of the Evaluation period, but additional time may be required by the Sponsor, depending on any number of factors.
The most compelling pitch will be greenlit by the Sponsor, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.
Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal, typically included with the project timeline.
