My kids had to change schools this year. It was difficult since they are both in upper grades and kids have already settled in to their groups of friends. I wouldn't have thought our dog would pave the way to new friendships at the new school, but that's how it happened. Every day Pepper waits at the school drop off and greets every student as they leave. The students call Pepper the school mascot. They run to greet her shouting her name. Now my children have lots of friends thanks to Pepper!
