Almost five years ago we became the parents of a beautiful baby boy who happened to be born with Down Syndrome. At four years of age Dane was hardly speaking and we decided to add a dog to our family in hopes she would help Dane find his voice. And so came Roxie, an adorable Cockapoo that looks more like a teddy bear than a dog. Within days of joining our family Dane was saying her name and within weeks talking to her and since his speech has grown in leaps and bounds. Roxie completes our family
