My sister Liz has cerebral palsy. Confined to a wheelchair, she has a tougher time than most with even the simplest of tasks. 2 years ago, Liz met Bailee, and the pair became inseparable. Trained by prison inmates through Can Do Canines, not only does she help Liz pick up dropped objects & open doors, she gives Liz the freedom to live a much more independent and social life, including attending college. Bailee’s love for Liz has gone beyond the job, having a positive impact on my entire family.
