Our mom hates horror movies. 2 Christmases ago, I got her a Netflix account. There was a terrible blizzard and we were stuck in the house for 3 days. Somehow, my brothers and I convinced her to watch American Horror Story. We binged on it for the entire blizzard, and now- she's a HUGE AHS fan! She's even started taking up Netflix's suggestions for other Horror movies and shows. We inadvertently created a new Horror fan, and AHS has become an offbeat bonding experience.
