Growing up with a single mom, the two of us were best friends. We did everything together, but our favorite was movie night. Now that I live in Los Angeles and my mom still lives in North Carolina, it can be hard to stay connected. That's why last year I finally turned her onto Netflix! Not only have we resumed movie nights (most recently featuring Bridget Jones's Diary), but I also introduced her to the joys of binge-watching, à la Gilmore Girls and Orange is the New Black!
