The story begins with two people on the verge of collapse, and ends in the past with their first meeting and hope for their new love. Our main character Lydia goes from being certain that she wants to erase her pain, to surrendering to love and making the same choices over again. Time and choice are both illusions.
To those of us who believe in physics, this separation between past, present, and future is only an illusion, if a stubborn one.
