Create a :30 TrueView video for Firstrade, a leading online brokerage firm, that is releasing their new crypto trading service.

Firstrade is a leading online brokerage firm offering a full line of investment products like online and mobile trading of Stocks/ETFs, Options, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income products, and tools designed to help investors take control of their financial future. Combining proprietary trading technology, a highly intuitive user interface, outstanding customer service and mobile applications, Firstrade offers a comprehensive solution for investor’s needs. They are now launching a cryptocurrency offering that allows customers to manage crypto assets like a traditional investment portfolio. Instead of using a wallet like a traditional cryptocurrency platform, you can manage your coins as a part of your investment portfolio.

The goal is to create an exciting, energetic live action execution that drives viewers to open an account and start trading crypto. They are looking for a memorable, inventive approach that is lively and fun and communicates their key benefits in a simple, straightforward and professional way. They want the video to instill a sense of urgency that drives the viewers to action, but it's important not to exaggerate claims of success.

Please see the Background/Additional Details section for key messages to include in your script, and review the timeline in the Assets tab or ask questions  in the Project Forum

DELIVERABLES: Four total deliverables:

  • One :30 video (16x9)
  • Three alternate :30 versions (16x9). Alternate variations will involve the same characters, locations, and script, and will mostly involve small changes that can be handled in post-production, including changes to CTAs, end-card designs, on-screen text copy, and other minor edits. Additionally, depending on where the creative lands, a version may include a slight variation to the script. This will be decided between the selected producer and client during scripting.

Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We're working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and you should ensure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline and budget, while also ensuring everyone's safety.

Key Messages:

  • Trusted Broker* for over 35+ years | Now Offers Crypto Trading
  • They have the most popular coins (all the coins most people are interested in are here, but not too much that you are overwhelmed by too many new random coins – ex. Binance has so many coins, it’s hard to tell what’s good and what’s not, so you don’t know where to start)
  • Free realtime data
  • 27 coins now, with more to come means more choices for customers. (ex. RH doesn’t offer SHIB, so their crypto customers lost their chance to own it when it was hot)
  • 24/7 trading – so you can jump in and out anytime, and be able to react quickly to new opportunities or changes in the market
  • You don’t have to wait to get into crypto, you can participate now, even with just $1 (ex. you don’t have to wait to have a ton of money to own bitcoin, you can own a bit of it right now even with just a little money)
  • With us, you have a chance to diversify and build a complete investment portfolio (stocks, options, mutual funds, and now crypto)
  • We have real-time data – so you can react in real-time too
  • $0 commission - so you can put more of your money into investing, not fees.
  • $1 Minimum to Buy or Sell*
  • Build your portfolio incrementally/Not too early to start investing
  • You can make different types of investments in one app (crypto + brokerage account + IRA(Retirement) accounts) – it’s convenient. (See SoFi)

Please see the  Assets and this folder for additional assets.

For some examples of effective Pitch videos, check out this gallery. All Pitches will remain private until after the Sponsor gives creator(s) the green light to move forward.

The most compelling pitch will be greenlit, and the responsible creator will then receive an email from Tongal producers detailing next steps. All submitters will also receive an automated email notification that a selection has been announced. To ensure you’re receiving project updates, review your email settings to check that you haven’t unsubscribed.

Creators who’ve been selected will receive funding upon completing the Winner Affidavit and the IP Assignment. Payment of the pitch funds is subject to a payment schedule determined by Tongal. Please see the full payment schedule

in the Assets section.

PRE-PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS: Prior to shooting, filmmakers must receive the below approvals from the Sponsor.

  • HEADSHOT: This project requires headshot approval before the Video Phase. You must submit at least two actor options per role. If the Sponsor does not approve either of your options for a role, you may be asked to submit two new actor options. Additionally, there are templates that will help you clearly present cast, location, and wardrobe options to the Sponsor. They can all be accessed here.

BUILDING YOUR TEAM: Tongal supports inclusivity in all of our productions and strongly encourages you to hire diverse talent for your team. To find staff & crew in your area, check out these resources and partners.
