As a building manager, I deal with moisture-related issues on a daily basis. Underneath bathroom & kitchen sinks, closets, basements, trash rooms, boiler rooms--moisture is a problem in all of these areas. Bad smells and bugs. Not fun! My building has a steam heat system, so moisture is always present. What do I do? DampRid. I always have some on hand for the boiler room, trash & storage areas. I also tell my tenants it'll help keep gross things like odors & Silverfish away if used under sinks.
